Double Chocolate Teff Cookie
These double chocolate teff cookies are the perfect chocolate cookies. They are rich in flavour and are perfect winter cookies. These cookies are dairy and egg free but taste just like a regular cookie.

- 113 g vegan butter room temperature
- 95 g brown sugar
- 45 g white sugar
- 40 g unsweetened apple sauce room temperature
- 75 g brown teff flour
- 90 g All Purpose Flour
- 15 g cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 30 g vegan chocolate chips
Cream the butter and sugars till everything is incorporated
Mix in the apple sauce
Add in the rest of the ingredients (except chocolate chip cookies) and mix well.
Add in as many chocolate chips as you want
Refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 minutes while you preheat your oven to 350°F
Scoop with a cookie scoop. You should make about 8-10 cookies
Press the cookies down a bit so that they are not domed
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes
Let the cookies cool for 15 minutes.
Serve with a warm glass of milk.
